XadBlock™ believes in all Internet users' rights to privacy. XadBlock™ does not engage in any form of distribution or sale of Personally Identifiable Information ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personally_identifiable_information ) to third parties for their promotional use, including but not limited to, names, email/postal addresses, and phone numbers. All information collected by the XadBlock™ Online Advertising Network is not personally identifiable as it relates to consumers.

Transparent Cross Domain Session Tracking

We use this information transparently on behalf of advertisers to improve your user experience. The information used by XadBlock™ is the same data and information that the web site(s) linking to this page already have regarding your identifying usage information. The web sites, network partner, publisher, affiliate, and or advertisers web servers linking to this page provides this data transparently behind the scenes from their physical server to ours. There is never a point to point transfer or communication between your web browser and XadBlock™ computer systems. Cookies
A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier that is sent to your browser from a web site's computer and stored on your computer's hard drive.

The web sites, network partner, publisher, affiliate, and or advertisers linking to this web page allows XadBlock™ Online Advertising Network the use of uses of its web sites domain cookies for the purposes of tracking when an Internet user has seen an advertisement. These cookies do not and will not provide XadBlock™ with any Personally Identifiable information. We will send the user site and service announcement updates. Members are not able to un-subscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about the service. We also communicate with user to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to the account via e-mail or telephone when requested.

Collection and Use of Non-Personally Identifiable Information
All information shared with both advertisers and publishers within the XadBlock™ online advertising network is done so in an aggregate fashion. This allows us to provide members of the advertising network with broad percentages regarding the users who are receiving advertisements through the network. However, this data is not linked to any form of Personally Identifiable information.

Information collected by advertisers on their web sites who are members of the XadBlock™ online advertising network may contain Personally Identifiable information. However, data such as this is provided by the individual Internet user in the form of online order forms, contests, or otherwise through the members web site, not XadBlock.com. This Personally Identifiable information collected outside the XadBlock™ Online Advertising Network is subject to the privacy policies of the individual advertisers involved.

The XadBlock™ Online Advertising Network prides itself on providing an atmosphere that is non-disruptive to Internet users. Our proprietary targeting methodologies enable advertisers to effectively target their campaigns to the audience(s) they are looking to reach without engaging in profiling practices, which invade the privacy of Internet users.

Like most standard Web site servers we use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Collection and Use of Personally Identifiable Information
Registering to become a member of the XadBlock™ online advertising network, either as an advertiser or a publisher, requires the submission of Personally Identifiable information to our company. This can include your full name, mailing and/or billing address, email address, company name, and web site URL. We use this information to service your accounts and respond to inquiries. Communications to our business users are related to the Advertising Network. We hold all such information submitted in strict confidence. Under no circumstances will a user's email address, mailing address, phone number, or other Personally Identifiable information be sold to, supplied to, or otherwise made available to any third party. Security
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

The information we provide to these third parties contains no personal information. The type of information we collect on our web sites includes:

  • IP Address - This changes often with computers that login via DHCP to their ISP and is not identifying in any way what so ever.
  • Zip Code - Freely available information to any web site you visit, this data help provide more custom experience in regards to local ads and services.
  • Browsing History - Our technology tracks your sessions across multiple web sites and associates a non identifying session value to that experience.
  • Domains you visited - the web sites which use our services provide this information to our service in order to provide you with a better experience while visiting their web site(s).
  • Ads You have been presented - We track this information so our partners can provide a better user experience.
  • Ads you have clicked or interacted with - This gives our system a better understanding of what products and services you are interested in, again better user experience is the goal here.

Many of the Web sites and online services we offer, provide services for, as well as those of our partners, are supported by advertising. Through the XadBlock™ Advertising Platform, we may display ads on our own sites and the sites of our advertising partners.

When we display online advertisements to you, we will place a local site specific cookie on your computer in order to recognize your computer each time we display an ad to you. Because we may serve advertisements on many different Web sites, we are able to compile information over time about where you, or others who are using your computer, saw and/or clicked on the web sites we provide ads on. We use this information to make predictions about your characteristics, interests or preferences and to display targeted advertisements that we believe may be of interest to you. We may also associate this information with your subsequent visit, purchase or other activity on participating advertisers’ Web sites in order to determine the effectiveness of the advertisements.

While we may use some of the information we collect in order to personalize the ads we show you, we designed our systems to select ads based only on data that does not personally and directly identify you. XadBlock™ web sites, network partner, publisher, affiliate, and or advertisers use "cookies" to enable you to sign in to our services and to help personalize your online experience. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. Cookies contain information that can later be read by a Web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. One of the primary purposes of cookies is to store your preferences and other information on your computer in order to save you time by eliminating the need to repeatedly enter the same information and to display your personalized content and appropriate advertising on your later visits to these sites. When you visit a web sites, network partner, publisher, affiliate, and or advertisers employing our technology, store your unique ID number, and the time you visited, in an encrypted cookie on your hard disk. This cookie allows you to move from page to page at the site without having to sign in again on each page. When you sign out, these cookies are deleted from your computer. We also use cookies to improve the sign in experience. For example, your e-mail address may be stored in a cookie that will remain on your computer after you sign out. XadBlock™ powered Web pages may contain electronic images known as Web beacons - sometimes called single-pixel gifs - that may be used to assist in delivering cookies on our sites and allow us to count users who have visited those pages and to deliver co-branded services. We may include Web beacons in promotional e-mail messages or our newsletters in order to determine whether messages have been opened and acted upon. XadBlock™ may also employ Web beacons from third parties in order to help us compile aggregated statistics regarding the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns or other operations of our sites. We use Web beacons on sites to collect or access only your non-personal browsing information to better provide you with more relevance to your . Although a majority of the online advertisements on XadBlock™ network sites are displayed by XadBlock, we also allow third-party ad serving companies, including other ad networks, to display advertisements on our partner web sites. These companies currently include, but are not limited to: Atlas, Google, Yahoo, Casale, Undertone Networks, 24/7 Real Media, Advertising.com, Bidclix, BlueStreak, Burst Media, DoubleClick, EuroClick, Eyeblaster, EyeWonder, Falk, Interpolls, Kanoodle, Mediaplex, Pointroll, TangoZebra, Yahoo! Publisher Network, and Zedo. These companies may offer you a way to opt out of ad targeting based on their cookies. Terms of Use

Your contract with XadBlock™ and the web site(s) linking to this web page

1. What the Contract Covers.

This is a contract between you and the web site (network partner, publisher, or affiliate) linking to this page and XadBlock™ . Sometimes the XadBlock™ company referenced in document is referred to as "XadBlock," "we," "us" or "our". This contract applies to any XadBlock™ software or services, including updates, that display or link to this contract and that you use while this contract is in force. All of the software or services are referred to in this contract as the "service."

Please note that we do not provide warranties for the service. This contract also limits our liability. We ask you to read it carefully.

2. When You May Use the Service.

You may start using the service when you visit any web site powered by XadBlock technology. No withdrawal right or other "cooling off" period applies to the service and you waive any applicable "cooling off" period, except if the law requires a "cooling off" period despite your waiver and even when a service starts right away.

3. How You May Use the Service.

In using the service, you will:

  • obey the law;
  • obey any codes of conduct or other notices we or our network partners provide;
4. How You May Not Use the Service.

In using the service, you may not:

  • engage in, facilitate or further unlawful conduct;
  • use the service in a way that harms us or our advertisers, affiliates, resellers, distributors and/or vendors, or any customer of ours or our advertisers, affiliates, resellers, distributors and/or vendors;
  • use any portion of the service as a destination linked from any unsolicited bulk messages or unsolicited commercial messages ("spam");
  • use any unauthorized third party software or service to access the XadBlock™ network
  • use any automated process or service to access and/or use the service (such as a BOT, a spider, periodic caching of information stored by XadBlock, or "meta-searching");
  • use any unauthorized means to modify or reroute, or attempt to modify or reroute, the service;
  • damage, disable, overburden, or impair the service (or the network(s) connected to the service) or interfere with anyone's use and enjoyment of the service; or
  • resell or redistribute the service, or any part of the service.
5. You Are Responsible For Your Browsing Session

You are responsible for all activity that takes place with your browsing session and it is entirely your responsibility to take all measures to secure your own privacy. You may not authorize any third party to access and/or use the service on your behalf.

6. Your Dealings with Others

If you obtain, use, or purchase any service, product, or information from a third party network partner, publisher, or affiliate (including third-party offered services) through the service, you understand that your relationship with respect to those things is with the third party network partner, publisher, or affiliate directly and not with XadBlock. In the event you assert a claim that relates to or implicates your relationship with a third party, you shall only assert such claim against the third party, and you will not assert any such claim against XadBlock, even if XadBlock™ assisted in billing for the third-party offering. You are solely responsible for your dealings with any third party, including

    • delivery of and payment for goods and services;
    • processing and verifying orders, payments and other transactions;
    • customer support related to orders or transactions (e.g., lost orders, billing disputes, payments, etc.);
    • determining, collecting and remitting to the appropriate authority all taxes (if any) arising from or related to such orders or transactions; and
    • the purchase and use by you and your associated accounts of any third-party products and services.

7. In matters pertaining to XadBlock™ the web sites, network partner, publisher, affiliate, and or advertisers linking to this page independently represent and warrant that

    • their products and services (of the web site linking to this page) advertised, sold and distributed are legal for sale and distribution and do not violate this contract;
    • XadBlock™ is not liable for services, products, or information represnted on advertiser, network partner, publisher, or affiliate websites,
    • XadBlock™ holds no liability, and they release XadBlock™ from liability regarding the products, services, or viewpoints of the provider, partners, and or advertisers.
    • These providers independently retain all licenses necessary to sell, distribute and advertise the goods and services they offer; and
    • all sales and advertisements presented through network partner, publisher, advertiser or affiliate websites will comply with all applicable law.

8. XadBlock's agreement with You

The below binding covenant is in respect to your usage of the XadBlock™ Service and the services of its partners, suppliers, advertisers, and vendors. XadBlock™

  1. You will not hold XadBlock™ liable for any advertisement message, product, service, or representation made by the web site or advertiser linking to this page.
  2. We provide the service "as-is," "with all faults" and "as available."
  3. We do not guarantee the accuracy or timeliness of information available from the service or web site linking to this page.
  4. We and our affiliates, resellers, advertisers, publishers, partners, distributors and vendors (collectively, the "XadBlock™ parties") give no express warranties, guarantees or conditions.
  5. You may have additional consumer rights under your local laws that this contract cannot change.
  6. We exclude any implied warranties including those of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, workmanlike effort and non-infringement.
  7. XadBlock™ is not a broker/dealer or registered investment advisor under United States federal securities law or securities laws of other jurisdictions, and does not advise individuals as to the advisability of investing in, purchasing or selling securities or other financial products or services. Nothing contained in the service constitute an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security. XadBlock™ does not endorse or recommend any particular financial products or services. Nothing contained in the service is intended to constitute professional advice, including but not limited to, investment or tax advice.
  8. XadBlock™ is not liable for actions taken against you or your estate by partners, advertisers, vendors, or 3rd parties.

Your Privacy Practices.
